howto configure "gawab" settings (E-Mail section)
Options:
Send Logs By E-mail Every X Hours and Y Minutes
After checking this option, this software will try to send the logs files to the e-mail address you supplied.
By using this option, you can remotely view all the logs files without the need to access the computer running this software.
For using this option you will have to supply the following details:
E-mail Address - The destination e-mail (The log will be sent to this e-mail).
You can use your own address or open a free new one at gawab.com, hotmail.com, yahoo.com, emailservice.com.
SMTP Server - you can use your ISP, or choose one of the many free SMTP mail services on the Internet.
If your SMTP requires authentication, you should enter login name and password.
We recommend opening an account at http://www.gawab.com which was tested and works with the this software.
(Choose the package with POP/SMTP support - currently the silver package)
An example of the gawab.com configuration is shown in the screenshot below.
Step by step example (gawab.com configuration):
1) Browse to http://www.gawab.com
2) Choose the package with POP/SMTP support (currently the default package).
3) Fill the forms.
4) Open this software and select the "E-mail Settings" option.
5) Type the complete email address you received from gawab in the.
E-mail Address field (can be any e-mail address you have like hotmail, yahoo ...).
6) Type gawab SMTP address (smtp.gawab.com) in the SMTP Server field.
7) Type the complete e-mail address you received from gawab in the Login field.
8) Type your gawab account password in the Password field.
9) Press on the "Save" button.
10) Make sure that the "Log on to Incoming mail server (POP3) before sending mail" box is not checked.
11) Press the Send Test button to test the configurations. (If it fails then try to set the port to 587)
For viewing the attached log you received by e-mail:
a) Save the attached file(s) on the hard disk.
b) Open this software and select Log Viewer in the main screen menu.
c) Set the desired date on the Log Viewer calendar.
d) Click "Open Log File" option in the Log Viewer left menu, and browse for the saved log file.
IMPORTANT:
If you checked the "Send Textual, Chat and Web log in HTML format" option,
then do steps (b), (c) and (d) only for viewing the Visual log.
The Textual, Chat & Web log (.htm extension) will be opened by your browser after you
double-click them.

Log on to Incoming mail server (POP3) before sending mail
This option determines whether the POP3 server needs to be logged on to first.
Some ISPs require that there will be a successful pop3 login before they let you to use their SMTP.
In most cases this box should be unchecked.

Send Test
After pressing this button, this software will try to send a test e-mail to the e-mail address you supplied.
Always try to send a test e-mail after changing the e-mail configurations.

Extract
After pressing this button, this software will try to extract your
default SMTP and e-mail address from your Microsoft Outlook/ Outlook Express
accounts.

Lookup
(Domain name to SMTP).
Type a domain name (domain.com) in the SMTP field, and this button will find the suitable SMTP server for the domain.
For Example: If you type gawab.com in the SMTP field, and press the Lookup button,
gawab SMTP will be inserted into the field.

Send Textual, Chat And Web Log In HTML Format:
After checking this option, this software will send the Textual , Chat and Web log in HTML format.
The Visual log is sent encrypted.
You should check this option if you want to view the Textual, Chat & Web log from a computer
that does not have this software installed on.
